Chad Merrill

Hello, my name is Chad Merrill. I’m new to Arise Mentors and I’m very excited about working in a field where I can help people. I have a lot of experience working with youth and adults. I was a Personal Support Worker for 2 years while living at the Oregon coast. I enjoyed working with adults and youth. We had a lot of fun and it was very rewarding seeing positive changes in my clients. I specialize in enhancing quality of life and helping people integrate successfully into society. I’m kind, compassionate and patient. I understand challenges in life and like to see positive changes in the clients I serve.

Some of my hobbies include motorcycle riding, fishing, cooking and spending time with family. I also enjoy video games and watching movies. I was a chef when I attended college so I would love the opportunity to pass on some of my cooking skills to individuals I support s. I like to have fun with everything I do and I always try to see the positives in life. I believe that success doesn’t bring happiness, but happiness
brings success.
I would love the opportunity to help clients make positive changes in their lives and to have some fun as well.
