Alanah (She/Her/Hers)

Hi!

My name is Alanah, I would describe myself as soft spoken, but I’m very easy to connect with once you get to know me. I enjoy spending time both indoors and outdoors, some things I like to do are reading (and always welcome recommendations), learning about cars and their history, and relaxing with my cat, Maverick. I love opportunities to dress up for special events! I think it’s fun and brings a little extra excitement into everyday life.

I am currently a Public Health major at Portland State University currently studying for my Bachelors! I have my BLS certification to be a nurses assistant, during my training I was responsible for Monitoring the care of several patients, such as checking vitals, toileting etc. I’m naturally empathetic, patient, and a bit of a perfectionist, as I take pride in making sure even the smallest things are handled. I do however believe mistakes are natural and an important part of learning and growth.

I believe that communities are so important in life, and I hope to create and be a part of an environment where people feel safe, supported, and understood.
