Alissa

Hi! My name is Alissa. I’m from Raleigh, North Carolina and just moved to Portland this past winter to attend school at Portland State University to work toward becoming an art therapist because I love helping people and being creative! And I must say that the beautiful nature of the Pacific Northwest was also a huge factor, of course.

My passion for helping people was realized through seeing the struggles of my friends and family members who experience developmental challenges, and supporting them in their struggles in order to reach their goals. I enjoy making connections, skill-sharing, and helping individuals feel empowered.

You can usually find me either enjoying relaxing cozy activities like art, video games, music, cooking, movies, gardening and writing– or exploring and trying new things such as attending community events and spending time in nature hiking camping kayaking and bird-watching!

My typical availability is Monday through Thursday. I look forward to meeting you in person and hopefully making a great connection in order to assist you in reaching your goals.
