Blas

My name is Blas. I was born and raised in Laredo, Texas on the US/Mexico border. Living in Portland now has become a delight because of the beauty and weather, here in the Pacific Northwest.

I enjoy music best through singing and songwriting on my guitar. I also enjoy bookkeeping, budgeting and everything to do with finances. Eating amazing food and enjoying entertainment is where learning becomes a hobby and life-long quest.

You’ll always find me helping someone, assisting them in diverse ways – I constantly look for ways to help others.

The experiences I have had of serving others by helping them learn how to participate in their in their success. I have worked with all age groups; adolescents/teenagers, early adults and a lot with middle-aged and elderly individuals. My biggest passion though is assisting all aged adults.

Team building and the strengthening of those teams is where my major accomplishments are found. ARISE Mentors and I want to help to create or maintain your independence in this great community we all live in. My job is to assist you in being a vital part of our community, here in the Metro area, and I will do all I can to help you find success in the future or keep having the success you have already created by your hard work, regardless of the challenges we encounter today.

Fun is found everywhere. Building good habits through your focus on the personal progress you have planned through our organization is my desire.
