Hello! I’m J. Banks. I love working with people and all the opportunities it presents to me. I am a friendly father, marine, college grad, and someone who understands the importance of being heard. I have worked with younger individuals in various roles for many years, from juvenile facilities to coaching and teaching roles. I have also supported and cared for older adults. I look forward to working for ARISE and seeing what adventures are on the horizon. I have a wide variety of interests; I am always interested in expanding and getting out of my comfort zone. I love the outdoors and always look for an excuse to be outside. I enjoy sports, hiking, walking downtown Portland on a beautiful day. I love music of all kinds, and enjoy outdoor concerts and festivals during the spring and summer months. I also enjoy cooking, indoors or outdoors on a grill or smoker.
