Lydia

Hello I’m Lydia, I’m originally from California, I have called Oregon home since 2009. I bring a caring heart and a steady presence to my work as a mentor at Arise Mentors, through which I support individuals with developmental disabilities.

I am passionate about building strong, trusting relationships and helping others grow in confidence and independence. My work is grounded in kindness, patience, and a deep belief in the unique strengths of every person I mentor.

Outside of work, I enjoy arts and crafts, visiting local farmers markets, photography, and playing puzzle games on my phone. I’m also a big fan of movies and love getting into a good TV series—especially when I can binge-watch a whole season in one weekend. I also make time for daily movement, whether it’s going for a walk, finding a trail to hike, or just getting outside to explore something new.
