Vanessa

Hi I’m Vanessa! I’m a college student who is new to the Portland area from Las Vegas. I’m excited to be here and to get to know new people. I care a lot about helping others feel safe, happy, and proud of who they are. Some things I like are cooking, baking, basketball, going outside, food, puzzles, and video games.
I also like talking with people and sharing stories.

I have experience with mentoring people to reach for higher goals academically, as well as socially. I believe that everyone has something special to offer especially those with disabilities. They teach me so much about strength, kindness, and being real. I love seeing people smile, try new things, and feel good about themselves. I’m here to support, cheer them on, and help do things that matter to them.

I’m excited to be part of a team that values inclusion, understanding, and real connection. Working with the disabled community brings me joy, and I’m here to support each person in a way that feels right for them.
