Hello! My name is Emily Blake, my pronouns are She and Her. I was born in Canada but lived most of my life on the East Coast of America. I moved to Portland over a decade ago and love living in the Pacific Northwest, specifically this city, since it’s close to everything and contains all my interests. I’m a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community!

Some hobbies of mine include watching movies, playing video games like Animal Crossing or No Man’s Sky, reading science fiction, baking bagels, watching soccer (Go Thorns!), spending time in nature, and spending time with my pets and partner. My Covid project was to learn to play the Ukulele, which still brings me a lot of joy. My favorite outings involve nature in some way, my favorite being visiting the Japanese Gardens.

I come to DSP work from a background in Information Technology, so I’m able to help navigate technology needs for my clients. I mostly worked with adult education and training, so helping figure things out and explaining things in the clearest way possible is a passion of mine. I love the people I’ve come into contact with throughout my time as a DSP, I love meeting new people and learning what they are passionate about.
