Sean

Hello! My name is Yu-Siang, but most people just call me Sean. I live in the Portland Metro area. It has been a lifelong passion of mine to work in a field where I will be in the position of actively
helping and supporting those around me. I value creating a helpful environment based on individuality; each person is different and deserves to be heard and supported personally. I pride myself on being easygoing and patient, always approaching challenges with a calm and understanding mindset. Having moved out when I was 18 and supporting myself independently, independence is also something I value for myself and others. I am so excited to be a part of the community at AriseMentors.

I have many passions and hobbies. I’ve played almost every sport you can think of, and I love the outdoors. Growing up as a Boy Scout, I developed a deep appreciation for hiking and camping; being in nature always brings me peace. Despite my love for the outdoors, I can also be a bit of a homebody. I enjoy movies, music, cooking, and spending time with my cat, Bear. I also play my fair share of video games, but in my opinion, board games are even better. My main pastime at the moment is card games. I’ve spent the last several months diving deep into Magic The Gathering, playing with both friends and strangers every week.
