Hannah (she/her/hers)

Hello there, my name is Hannah Cameron and my pronouns are She/Her. I am living in NE Portland and have resided in the Pacific Northwest for most of my life. I did travel the country for five years in my camper, painting murals and adventuring in the national parks. I am an open minded artist with a polite and calm deminer. I enjoy one on one conversations and participating in community activities. I have been a Direct Support Professional for children and adults for four years.

I have been an artist for most of my life and enjoy teaching art at the alternative high school. Mostly I teach artistic elements with drawing and painting. I also make stained glass. I always want to try a new craft. I host art workshops and community fundraisers for my fellow group of misfit artists. I sew by hand and on a machine, I like to make costumes for my performances. I preform for the circus and dance with fire and other flow props. I face paint and create giant bubbles. I enjoy most genres of music and dancing in lot of different styles. I enjoy cooking and consider myself a decent cook with the ability to teach cooking and meal prepping. I like to get out in nature on walks and swimming when the weather is nice enough.

I am passionate about supporting and advocating for the IDD community. I have family and friends who have needed assistance which led me to doing this work as a professional. Now I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Working with people in their homes and in the community on their terms is rewarding in a unique way that really lifts my spirits.
