Kirk

Hello all, my name is Kirk and it is very nice to meet you! I am an Oregonian and have lived in the SW Portland area for the last 40 years. I have worked for Arise Mentors supporting individuals with I/DD challenges for the last three years and have enjoyed every minute! With a HS diploma my favorite subject was science. I am open to working Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and occasionally Saturdays. I look forward to assisting a person to become better in life including living how they chose. Improving one’s successes are my ultimate goals. My service areas include the Portland Metro, Beaverton, Milwaukee and Gresham.

My work experience to date has included support to seniors and adults both young and old. Additionally, I have also supported the I/DD community by being a bowling coach for the Special Olympics for several years. One of my personal work goals is to eventually work with children within the I/DD community. I would like to with a person who is polite, understanding, caring, has a good head on their shoulders and know what they want in life.  Additionally, someone who is a calm, gets along with others and has similar interests.

My personal interests include any outdoor activity my favorites being camping, fishing, hiking and most anything nature related. Other favorite things to do include shooting pool (and bowling for sure) hiking on hiking trails, cycling, ATV’s, going to movies, OMSI, arcades, video games, and being around friends and family.
